Answer: a delicious Sunday May 20th!

Aerial yoga poses

This Sunday Galaxy Pilates and Oh La La French Bistro have cooked up a tasty Sunday morning.

Start with an aerial yoga class. Then celebrate your practice with brunch at Oh La La. Each is offering discounts on their offerings. The aerial yoga class, usually $22 for non-members, is just $15. Anyone who attends the class receives a FREE bellini or mimosa with brunch. The class starts at 10:15.

What exactly is aerial yoga? It's a combination of traditional yoga poses and aerials arts using the hammock to increase muscle tone, flexibility and mobility through reverse traction, suspended asanas (poses) and flying vinyasas (That forward fold, plank, up and down dog thing)and levitating meditations.

I have to try this because my balance sucks! But I digress.

The famous frites at Oh La La

As for the French bistro, the food is authentic and affordable. Here's a photo of my favorite hamburger and frites. But the restaurant kitchen turns out fancy French, too, like les moules. This restaurant is one of my top three favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. That includes those fancy-schmancy restaurants on the Strip.

Both establishments are in Summerlin.

The centuries-old practice of yoga has suddenly become the exercise du jour here in Las Vegas. But we like to put our own spin on it. You can do yoga in a cabin on the Linq Observation Wheel, do yoga with goats, or have a German beer after your beer yoga class at the Hoffbrau House. There used to be a doga class (dogs in the yoga class) but that studio shut down. Anyone know of one?

Oh La La owner Richard Terzaghi said he got the idea to combine the two from his son, who loves this aerial yoga class and of course loves his dad's food.

See you there!
