How would you like Randall Cunningham to be your son's football coach? The NFL (and UNLV) quarterback coaches football at Bishop Gorman High School here in Las Vegas.
That's the second reason to go to Bishop Gorman. It's clearly the best academic high school in Las Vegas, period.
However, you pay for quality. Bishop Gorman is a private Catholic school. Assuming you can get in, tuition is $12,900 a year; $11,500 if you are a member of a Catholic church and can produce a letter from the parish priest.
In other Cunningham news, Cunningham's daughterVashti, a Bishop Gorman senior, just won the gold medal in the women's high jump at the International Association of Athletics World Indoor champions. All in the family.
So, there is more to Las Vegas than casinos. We locals set national sports records too!
