Las Vegas Median Home Price Jumps

If you wanted to buy a new home in Las Vegas in December,  you'd be paying 13 percent more than you did the year before. That's because the median new home price hit $321,405, according to Home Builders Research, a Las Vegas real estate analysis firm. If you were looking for a bargain, it's too late. That price is the highest new homes have been since the Real Estate Apocalypse started eight years ago.

I've never bought a new home, but I can imagine the joy of opening up the front door of a home you designed your way. I buy resales of people who, IMHO, have the worst taste. New paint, new flooring and new faucets are all requirements. There is $$$ to do that because December's median price of resale homes was just $217,000, according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.

Did you know if your Realtor isn't present when you sign up at the model homes, s/he can't represent you in any real estate transaction in that subdivision? Would you get divorced and use your spouse's attorney? Call me so I can protect you in the transaction. You need your own voice.
