About Ian

While working on his degree from the University of Iowa Ian Palast found a passion for real estate. He purchased his first home that turned into his very first rental income property. For over thirty years Ian has continued to develop his knowledge, skills, wisdom and real estate portfolio. Ian has purchased homes in California, Illinois, Iowa, Nevada and Texas renovating some, flipping some, living in others and purchasing numerous properties for their income production. Adding to his business background, Ian owned and operated a successful restaurant, was an inside sales manager and liaison between outside sales, technical support and customer service teams for an online data exchange network, and spent several years in the mortgage business as a loan officer. In 2006, Ian decided to take his business acumen to the next level and pursue a full-time career in real estate sales and investments in Las Vegas and the greater Clark County area. Ian has received designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS). These designations highlight Ian's specific mastery of the subject matter not only through his technical knowledge but in his personal experience with the most challenging scenarios.
