About Maricel

“Home is where the military sends us.”

These words have never rung truer for Maricel and her family as her husband currently serves in the United States Air Force. Over the past 19 years, she and her family have relocated 13 times, including five overseas moves. Their adventures have taken them to the vibrant landscapes of Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Japan, California, Hawaii, and, now, they proudly call Nevada home.

A Southern Californian, Maricel pursued her education in Economics at the University of California, Irvine. Before joining eXp Realty, Maricel gained valuable experience in marketing and communications across diverse industries, including vacation rentals, insurance and financial services, medical, and not-for-profit. During her time in Arkansas, she served as the inaugural Director of Marketing and Communications for Goodwill Industries of Arkansas.

Maricel’s firsthand experience with frequent relocations and the search for new homes in various areas uniquely positions her to understand her clients’ specific challenges and needs. She has earned the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification, which equips REALTORS® to effectively serve U.S. servicemembers, veterans, and their families by identifying housing solutions that best support their lifestyles and benefits.

In addition, Maricel was selected as the PCS Pay-It-Forward® Ambassador for Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases, a role that reflects her ongoing commitment to educating and supporting military families throughout every stage of a PCS move. She collaborates closely with her clients, taking the time to understand their individual goals and crafting customized strategies to help them achieve success.

Maricel currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer with the Nellis Area Charitable Association, and she recently served as the Vice President of Membership with the Speakers & Leaders of Summerlin Toastmasters Club. She has a basic working knowledge of Tagalog and Japanese.

During her free time, Maricel enjoys traveling, hanging out at the beach, hiking with her husband, their children, and their Black Russian Terrier—and cheering loudly from the sidelines at her kids’ wrestling matches and football games.
