Thanks to today's terrorists, flying is one huge headache. If you live here in Las Vegas or are just visiting our fun city, you are lucky enough to use McCarran International Airport. Because J.D. Power just ranked McCarran third in customer service among North America's 31 busiest airports.
This is both good and bad news. The last time J.D. Power conducted the same survey in 2002 McCarran ranked first...
This time the Las Vegas airport scored high among travelers for:
Convenience of passenger check-in
Baggage claim locations
I would add three more great things about McCarran:
Food outlets, ranging from sit-down gourmet to take-on-the-plane quickies
FREE Wi-Fi everywhere for everyone
Slot machines. So what if the plane is late?????
Last year McCarran, the nation's 24th busiest airport, served 42.9 million passengers. That's a lot of people to keep happy!
Yet another great reason to live in Las Vegas: it's easy to get out of Dodge.
P.S. Portland International Airport and Tampa International Airport were No. 1 and 2. But they had a lot fewer people flying in and out. Just saying.

"I worked with Jake Soteros from Horizon Realty for the purchase of my last home. Jake was great throughout the whole process. He was always willing to answer my questions and adapted to my availability. Due to work and my lifestyle, texting is the best form of communicating for me and he was always very accommodating. We had some issues with the seller of my property and Jake always fought for my best interest and was never afraid to voice my concerns. He is not only a good agent but a man of principal and high moral standards. It was truly a pleasure working with him..."
