Happy St. Patrick's Day. May the luck of the Irish be with all of us.
Since FREE is my favorite four-letter word, here are some FREE happenings in Las Vegas tonight. Disclaimer: I grew up in Chicago in the 1960s when Mayor Daley dyed the Chicago River green. (That was before the environmentalists took over.) So I LOVE St. Patrick's Day!
Most Las Vegans over 35 have probably never been to the Gold Spike Casino downtown. Zappos bought it and it has been a hang out for millenial techies. But the place is really fun even for fossils like me! Tonight the Gold Spike is hosting a FREE band from the homeland. Stoked & Cobra Shamrock are in town from Dublin; they will be playing in the Backyard. DJ Pauley Feva flew in from New York City to host the shenanigans in the Living Room. There will be $3 green PBR drafts from 3-9 and $6 Guiness or Black and Tans, my fav.
Parked outside the Gold Spike will be a beer trunk. There will also be a dunk (not drunk) tank and other millenial games that will be fun for everybody.
If you are more into personal introspection, attend the Enneagram Las Vegas meeting at 6 pm at the Springhill Marriott on Paradise Road across the street from the Westgate. Tonight's topic is "How to Make Yourself Easier to Live With." I will be there because hey, I get I'm not that easy to live with and I can use all the help I can get!
After both of those, head to Sunset Station in Henderson for the Lon Bronson Band. Two hours of industrial-strength R&B FREE! Showroom opens at 9. You'll be home by midnight.
And drive safe. Have a great St. Patrick's Day, Las Vegas.

"I do not often write reviews that said, I am writing this review in the hopes that it may sway some in favor of working with Jake.
After a very difficult home buying experience over the course of the last few years, I was finally put in touch with Jake Soteros. Jake was the complete antithesis of all my prior experiences dealing with real estate agents during the home buying process. Jake was patient, knowledgeable, and ready to help in any way he could in order to assist me throughout. I was able to finally find the best home for me and my family, and as a benefit learned a wealth of lessons about real estate, the home buying process, and the market in general from working with him."
